Well, well, well....here I am diving into the land of teaching blogs and what better way to do it than with the January Currently at Oh' Boy 4th Grade .
Listening - this is something I don't hear often because I have two girlies that love their mama and an always calling...Mama can I (blah, blah, blah) or Maaaamaaaa...where is my (you fill in the blank). So I welcome the quiet hum whenever I can.
Loving - My oldest is a 14 year old 8th grader and ballet dancer to boot. She fractured her L5 vertebrae in October. Yes...good times in the Harris house! She is now getting better and walking some without her walker. Yes..she has to use a walker. Sweet thang is NOT wanting to go back to school with it BUT I think she will have to. Oh... did I forget to tell you...she's been out of school since Oct. 1. She kept up with work by Skyping and only needs one more test in Algebra to be ALL CAUGHT UP. Good think Algebra is her favorite (ha! ha! It's not!)
Thinking - I don't go back to school until Monday but I left the last day before break with all the baked goodies from my sweeties and not a single school planning item so I'm thinking I must hit the books tomorrow!
Wanting - I only have one item in my TPT store. I never thought anyone would want them. The color words. So with the year going along I didn't check-in with it much. Well....today I heard this little voice say "why don't you check out you color words today" and low and behold....it had been downloaded many times (1,800 times). I about died!! That made me very excited and a tiny bit proud to boot.
Needing - I want a pretty blog and have decided to jump in and do it. I think I've found my gal but I have to get in touch with her first.
Yee Haw!
Memory - My family makes me laugh and we kept laughing at the Totes Magoats commercial during Christmas. Of course we were ridiculous and used the lingo with each other. It was totes adorbs! (Not really....we are all over 30!)
I know I need to tell you about me but I can't think about that today, I'll think about that tomorrow!
